Los Angeles Theatre Center

We created online presence for the largest live-theatre multiplex in downtown Los Angeles in 2005. At the time, LATC's programming was facing closure due to lack of funding combined with political and administrative challenges between in-house theatre residencies. The once-dazzling Los Angeles Theatre Center now lacked any positive image. In we came with LATC.ORG, a brand new identity with a positive outlook, offering a virtual tour and online catalog of theaters, services, scheduling and rental information on demand.

Bookings rebounded and with the new branding came new opportunity. Later that year, EdgeFest produced the Edge of the World Theater Festival at LATC-- the city's largest live-theater festival and annual showcase for the work of Los Angeles-based theater artists, the Los Angeles History Project and the Los Angeles Future Project.

The following year, 2006, LATC received $4 million in state grants through the efforts of its new management group, the Latino Theater Company -- and the establishment breathed new life. Now that LATC's new operators, the Latino Theater Company, are developing their own domain for the reborn center, we shall repackage LATC.ORG to become a community web portal for all producers, directors, actors and technical staff who work and create for the legendary theater.

We honor Los Angeles' most dynamic Historic Landmark, and wish the whole family in this newest evolution.
